  9. The Macintosh Centris 660av combines the horsepower of a 25-megahertz 68040
  10. microprocessor with a 55-megahertz digital signal processor (DSP) to achieve
  11. outstanding performance. The DSP handles telecommunications, speech, and audio
  12. functions, allowing the 68040 processor to handle other tasks, thereby
  13. increasing the total system performance.

  15. The power and built-in features of the Macintosh Centris 660av let you take
  16. full advantage of exciting new audio-visual technologies. For example, with its
  17. built-in GeoPort telecommunications architecture, the Macintosh Centris 660av
  18. can connect with telephone systems, so you can use your computer as a
  19. tele-phone, an answering machine, a fax machine, and an electronic mail
  20. station. Its video capabilities let you view or capture video from a VCR, laser
  21. disc, or camcorder in a window. You can also connect directly to a TV to show
  22. your presentations or to a VCR to make videotapes.
